Proudly serving over 750,000 riders each year, Laketran is Lake County, Ohio’s regional public transportation system offering nine Local Routes, door-to-door Dial-a-Ride, and three commuter Park-n-Ride routes with service between Lake County and Downtown Cleveland.

Local Routes

Local Routes travel the major corridors of Lake County. Operates weekly and on Saturdays.

Dial-a-ride

Door-to-door, assisted transportation to anywhere in Lake County and to select medical facilities in Cuyahoga County. 

Park-n-Ride

Commuter service between Lake County and Downtown Cleveland from eight Park-n-Ride locations.

Transit GO

A new transit benefit program for Lake County employers – offering employees a safe, reliable, and free ride to work. Laketran, the Lake County Commissioners, AWT and the Fund for Our Economic Future have joined together to provide free transit benefits to participating employers in Lake County. Employers that enroll in program receive free Laketran Local Route bus passes to distribute to any employee or recruits, to ensure they have access to employment.
